The Regex extension in its current form requires Frontier 5.1 or later or any version of Radio UserLand running on Win95/WinNT or a PowerPC Macintosh.

Beginning with version 2.0.2b2, the Regex extension also supports Frontier for Mac OS X version 7.0b47 or later.

A Note About Compression

For your convenience we are offering all downloads in both Zip and StuffIt archive format. The contents of the archive files are identical, so the choice is yours.

Regex Extension

Recent versions of Frontier and Radio ship with the Regex extension included in the Extras folder or already installed in the system.extensions table, so a download from this website only makes sense if a newer version is available.

After you have decompressed and imported the system.extensions.regex table into your Frontier ODB, please refer to regex.README for instructions on how to complete the installation.

If you aren't downloading the Regex extension simply because some other suite you want to use requires it and you want to write scripts that use the Regex extension, you should consider downloading either of the two following files. Regex for Frontier 4.x

Regex 1.1.2b5 was the last Regex version for Frontier 4.x. It is incompatible with Frontier 5 and later but if you are still running Frontier 4.x, this version will also run on 68k Macs.
