WebCollage glue to Frontier 5

Welcome to the unofficial glue page for WebCollage, currently for Macs only.

What is WebCollage?

WebCollage is a unique suite of applications (an editor and an assembler) that allow you to automate the creation of graphics for the Web. It is extremely scriptable and has very nice features such as text anti-aliasing and the ability to create graphs based on data that it downloads from the Web.

What is this page supposed to do?

In theory, this should become a tutorial for scripting WebCollage in Frontier.
Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I haven't yet managed to do that. However, what you will find here is an updated glue for WebCollage that runs under Frontier 5.0x.

This is a fat page and contains a workspace subtable with the following tables:

  • webCollage : This table goes into system.verbs.apps.webCollage
  • BLBO : This table goes into system.verbs.traps.BLBO
  • a README

Read the README, install both tables in the right places in your Frontier root and you're ready to go.

Latest changes

  • Added the AssemblesActive property. Thanks Andrew Duncan.
  • Added a Miscellaneous Scripts table in the Examples table. This is where samples will go. Please forward me any thing you think might go in here.

Email henri@binarycompass.com in case you have questions.

Thanks!
